Tuna – Macaroni Casserole




Macaroni                                                                   1 ½ cups

Cream of Celery Soup

Milk                                                                             1/3 cup

Mayo                                                                          ¼ cup

Dry Mustard                                                             ½ tsp

Cheese                                                                      1 cup

Can of Tuna





Bread Crumbs                                                        1 cup


Paprika                                                                      ½ tsp



Bake uncovered at 350 for 50 mins.


Ham – Potato Leftovers Casserole


Sliced Cooked Potatoes                                      4 cups

Shredded Carrots                                                  1 cup

Cooked Ham, cubed                                                         1 ½ cups

Cream of Mushroom soup                                               1 can

Shredded Cheese                                                  1 cup

Milk                                                                             ¼ cup

Onion                                                                         1 tbsp

Pepper                                                                                  1/8 tsp

Bread crumbs                                                                     1 slice

Melted butter                                                                       1 tbsp



Layer ½ the potatoes and ½ the carrots in a casserole dish.  Stir together ham, soup, half of the cheese, milk, onion and pepper.  Pour ½ the ham mixture over potatoes and carrots.  Repeat layers.

Combine bread crumbs, the rest of the cheese, and melted butter.   Sprinkle over casserole.  Bake uncovered at 350 for about 45 mins.


KD Casserole


Kraft Dinner Noodles/shell noodles, cooked 1 pkg no cheese/2 cups

Tuna                                                                          1 can

Cream of Broccoli                                                  1 can

Mushrooms                                                             1 can

Thyme                                                                       1 tbsp

Garlic                                                                         1 tbsp

Milk                                                                             ½ cup

Mozzarella Cheese                                                            ½ cup

Crushed Croutons


Mix together noodles, tuna, cream of broccoli, mushrooms, thyme, garlic and milk in casserole dish.  Top with crushed croutons and mozzarella cheese.  Cook in microwave 6 min.


Zelfini (Mom’s invention)


Orange Juice

Dried Onion

Diced Green Pepper

Diced Red Pepper

Noodles (preferably coloured)



Snow Peas

Mozzarella cheese


Crushed Pineapple (optional)


Fry up the first seven ingredients.  In pot, cook noodles.  In another pot cook salt, cut up asparagus and snow peas, keep firmness.  Serve with cubed cheese, tomatoes and pineapple on top.




Medium Onion, minced                                         1

Garlic clove, minced                                              1

Olive oil                                                                     2 tbsp

Ground beef                                                                        1 lb

Sliced Mushrooms                                                 10 oz can

Tomato Sauce                                                         8 oz can

Tomato Paste                                                          6 oz can

Salt                                                                             2 tsp

Oregano                                                                    1 tsp

Water                                                                         ¾ cup

Egg, slightly beaten                                               1

Frozen chopped Spinach                                                10 oz pkg

Cottage cheese                                                      1 cup

Parmesan cheese                                                  1/3 cup

Lasagne, cooked and drained                            500 g pkg

Mozzarella cheese                                                 6 oz



Sauté onion and garlic in half the oil; add ground beef and brown, breaking it apart with a fork.  Stir in mushrooms with liquid, tomato sauce, tomato paste, half the salt, oregano and water.  Simmer 15 minutes.  Combine egg, spinach which has been thawed and thoroughly drained, cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, remaining oil and salt.  Spread 1/3 of meat sauce in a 9” x 13” baking dish.  Cover with 1/3 of lasagne.  Alternate another 1/3 of sauce and lasagne.  Spread cottage cheese mixture over and cover with remaining lasagne and sauce.  Arrange mozzarella cheese on top and bake at 350F 20 to 30 minutes.  About 8 servings.
